The Practical Self Defense Training Center

Welcome to The Practical Self Defense Training Center (“PSDTC” ). By enrolling in classes, signing up for membership, or participating in any of our training sessions, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Membership and Billing
1.1 Membership Fee:
The monthly membership fee is $125, $155, $195 or $225 (depending on the membership level), billed automatically on the same calendar date each month as the original purchase or enrollment date.
1.2 Payment Method:
All payments are processed automatically via the payment method provided during registration. It is the member’s responsibility to ensure that their payment information remains current and valid.
1.3 Late or Failed Payments:
If a payment fails or is declined, members will be notified via email. Continued non-payment may result in suspension or termination of membership privileges.
2. Cancellation Policy
2.1 Cancellation Notice:
Members wishing to cancel their membership must notify PSDTC in writing at least 30 days in advance of their next billing date.
2.2 Final Payment:
Upon cancellation, one final payment equal to one month’s membership fee ($125) will be charged. This final month grants continued access to training until the end of the paid period.
2.3 No Refunds:
Membership fees are non-refundable, including in cases of missed classes, partial months, or non-attendance.
3. Attendance and Conduct
3.1 Uniform Requirement:
All students must wear the official Practical Self Defense Training Center uniform during classes, seminars, and events unless otherwise instructed by staff.
3.2 Personal Hygiene:
Members are required to maintain good personal hygiene, including clean uniforms, trimmed nails, and general cleanliness. Anyone not meeting hygiene standards may be asked to leave class for safety and courtesy reasons.
3.3 Punctuality:
Students are expected to arrive on time for all scheduled classes. Late arrivals disrupt training and may result in being asked to observe rather than participate.
3.4 Absences:
If a student must miss a class, they must notify the school prior to class start time via email, phone, or text.
3.5 Illness Policy:
If a student is sick with a contagious illness, they must stay home to protect the health and safety of others. Students may resume training once they are no longer contagious.
4. Code of Conduct
Students must show respect to instructors, fellow students, and the training environment at all times. Disrespectful, aggressive, or unsafe behavior will not be tolerated and may result in immediate dismissal from the program without refund.
5. Liability Waiver
All members must sign a Liability Waiver and Assumption of Risk Agreement before participating in any class or training activity. Martial arts training involves physical contact and inherent risk of injury. PSDTC and its staff are not responsible for injuries sustained during training.
6. Policy Changes
The Practical Self Defense Training Center reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Members will be notified of significant changes via email or posting within the facility.
